Predictive Maintenance Accelerates: Near 28% CAGR Through 2033

According to Grand View Research, the global predictive maintenance market is worth about USD 14.2 billion in 2025 and is expected to reach USD 98.1 billion by 2033 — a 27.9% CAGR from 2026 to 2033. Citing an SAS survey, the report notes that about 71% of manufacturing organizations already run predictive maintenance on AIoT platforms.

By technique, vibration monitoring remains the most mature and widely deployed method. Mordor Intelligence sizes the global vibration monitoring market at about USD 1.87 billion in 2025, growing to USD 2.68 billion by 2031, with oil & gas accounting for nearly 30% and food & beverage growing fastest. The adjacent machine condition monitoring market is set to grow from USD 1.53 billion in 2026 to USD 2.41 billion in 2031.

Vibration is the "ECG" of rotating equipment. Corecloud wireless vibration terminals and edge DAQ instruments compute nine features such as RMS, peak and kurtosis right at the measurement point, catching failures in their incubation stage — the first building block of practical predictive maintenance.
