Policy is becoming the strongest driver of China's structural monitoring market. The Ministry of Transport's implementation plan for long-span highway bridge health monitoring required 11 pilot bridges by end-2021 and monitoring systems on the first batch of 644 long-span bridges by end-2023, with companion guidance calling for systems on 401 super-large bridges before 2025.
On the city side, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development launched the urban infrastructure lifeline safety program in May 2023; provincial supervision platforms have now been built in 27 provinces, covering gas, bridges, water supply and pipeline networks, and extending to prefecture-level cities. The 2025 opinions on continuing urban renewal put infrastructure renewal and safety at the top of the urban agenda.
Monitoring is becoming a "physical exam" regime for infrastructure — from post-incident repair to continuous sensing. Corecloud's high-precision vibration and tilt sensors, wireless networking and cloud platform serve exactly this wave, extending from bridges to urban lifelines.
